The concept is genius but the product needs to be more durable.

Love the idea and concept, sadly ours cuts in and out whenever you move it

This is a great concept but it is designed terribly and the build-quality is atrocious

Concept is great but my baby did not respond to it as intended

However we originally got one as a gift from our amazon registry and that one broke after about 3 months (was not working even with battery change) but we were able to exchange it

We do own the expensive baby sound machine who should now likely think of adding the shushing sound to their next playlist

I will say, we have a small portable sound machine and it works just as well as this and was a fraction of the price.

Since it’s a pretty pricey machine for only getting shushes, we haven’t bought another one and opted for another one that had a similar sound option but cheaper

would suggest a portable white noise machine over the baby shusher solely based on the automatic shut off feature.

Honestly, this thing was a miracle for our baby, soothed him better than anything and relieved us from having to make the noise ourselves

So, I got one for us to use at home, and I love this thing

This is literally the best thing you could get for a new baby

Just received mine today , it isn’t working at all , this thing was made cheap , wasted my time and money

When you're trying to get your baby to sleep, you don't have two hands to turn this stupid thing on because one of them is holding your sad baby

so I have been up every 30 minutes tonight woken up by baby who was woken up by this damn shusher turning off

I opened this (sealed) box and noticed that the Shusher appeared dirty

The shusher only lasted a month before it became faulty

Now we can no longer use this and do not want to spend another $35 to receive another poor quality shusher.

The NICU nurses loved the Shusher and saw it’s ability to calm a fussy baby.

It's a great idea for parents tired of saying shh a million times per day, but just didn't work for us.

Works really good calming my baby and putting her to sleep.

This works as described but doesn’t seem to calm my baby

It’s been a life saver and my baby loves it and falls a sleep to it shortly after it is turned on.

It soothes baby right to sleep and back to sleep after nursing

I don’t use this for sleep as much as for calming down a fussy baby

I had to hold it at a certain angle to get it to turn on or hit/shake it, and the noise would still cut out most the time.

Sometimes 30min isn’t enough time to get her into a deep enough sleep to not wake

It isn’t at all what I expected, but my husband and I were desperate to find something to help our son sleep and we stumbled across this

That being said, I am so glad my husband bought this!Portable, durable, easy to use, and it works like a charm

It drives my husband completely insane, but a crying baby also drives you insane, so take your pick

My husband opened it up and literally every piece of it was broken off and the contacts were off- he had to re-solder the pieces together just for us to use it (we were desperately trying to get some sleep) it worked for a couple weeks and now it’s broken again and needs to be re-soldered again

, I am buying a second one even though the design is STUPID.

The design is also faulty as it defeats the purpose of the sound to come through.
