The wire that came with the product to hook up the rear view camera isn’t long enough that’s the only down thing about it.

The wire to set the rear camera is long enough for my Toyota Camry 2010 XLE

Fairly easy installation with the exception that the red wire for powering the camera is nowhere near long enough if you are looking to install the camera on a minivan or any vehicle where the reverse light is more than 3 feet away from where you want your rear-facing camera placed

I spliced the rear view mirror cam into my back up lights positive side and the reverse feature works as advertised

The camera quality is not the best, the blue glare on the mirror makes it hard to see, sometimes it flickers on and off, it shakes a lot, doesn't always start recording automatically, randomly stops recording, etc

Night-time recordings were extremely noisy (lots of random colored dots)

Just remember: if you leave the motion sensor active in a busy parking lot with lots of people and vehicles moving, the unit will make lots of spurious recordings, and drain its battery charge

It has a lot of function, but the most important of course that it can record a video when I am driving my car
