Used for bottom of stairs to protect grand baby.

I can leave it open and it does not bother us and with a tap the door closes and the baby is safe when she is running around.

We had bought a similar looking gate from Wal-Mart many years ago and it really didn't work as we expected

I'm hoping it will get easier for her over time as it breaks in.

Very sturdy as we have 3 kids and run a daycare plus have multiple dogs

and I love the height at the gate as I have large dogs
