Good quality we use them while we hunt so the condition are rather rough and these radios perform very good.
The sound quality is good and power output is also good
I'm used to paying hundreds for most of the Ham gear I've bought over the years, and when I saw these for about $60.00 I figured they were simply "cheap" and low quality

It seems the range is more limited by the frequency not the power.
The range isn't all that great, even if you buy an extended antenna
These radios have incredible range and a really good battery life
Only compliant is one power charger failed as it has a cheap connector.
Yes, I know this is an 8 watt radio with a limited range and you can talk to repeaters which expand your limited range to your community however it is a great start to Ham Radio, a vital tool for my bug out bag, and good clean fun

I also have the knock off version and that one works better
This 8 watt radio works well but for the money I would rather have 2 of the baofeng uv-5ra
They man not be waterproof, but have had no issues with them in many types of weather conditions while working with Search and Rescue in the the Pacific Northwest.
i like the radio good quality well made works super does 8 wats hard t beat
