You will carefully punch button after button only to find the radio decided it didn't like the

Number 2 button didn't work but also when programmed the same as my other UV-5R (both running same firmware), I didn't receive much and barely held the weather stations locally wich are a very strong signal

Other cons are: I have a number of these (don't mind leaving them in the car as an emergency radio) and a few of them have some very cheesy buttons that I don't think would last through regular use

The options are good inside, buttons work good, radio seems sturdily built, bought 5 have 6 total

I ordered 2 of these and on one, the button to turn the light on top on didnt work and also the audio/mic jack wouldnt work

The only thing that stinks is you have to buy a seperate accessory (sync wire) to disable the PTT button, if you're a non-licensed owner
