These radio's are loaded with any feature you would find in a good quality Ham radio at a fraction of the price

The biggest problem is that saving a channel doesn't save offsets, which for a ham or emergency operator makes it useless.

after about 3 minutes in I realized that it was stuck in transmitting mode... very bad, sorry local hams.

This is a very good inexpensive Ham Radio,I have more expansive brand names that didnt come with all the accessories that this did

It would be easy for hard core Ham Operators to dismiss this radio as a toy, but if you want decent communications and don't want to spend a ton of money, I would recommend it.
