I like the radio does a great job once you learn how to use it, no way you can rember all the functions

Setting the deviation (menu item #5) to wide, using the ear piece/throat mike, and using a real antenna, turns this little radio into an extremely useful and thrifty way to communicate.

There are for SURE way nicer radios out there but for this price, you cant beat it

Replaced the antenna with a Nagoya NA-771 Antenna purchased at the same time, which greatly improves performance (although less handy due to length).Also used a Two Way Radio Protection Soft Case, which covers the chromed grill which some find objectionable

I have ordered and use many now of these great little two-ways for work of all kinds.

You may want to add a better antenna but either way, for this price, this radio ROCKS!
