Because of my OCD, I grind my beans into the included plastic container instead of the holder/filter and put the ground coffee into a large jar that I seal, and then just scoop out spoonfuls into the holder/filter on a scale, which makes great coffee for a few days until I need to grind more.

You do get consistency out of the beans which is a HUGE plus and this design allows you to waste less coffee than most if not all of the competition
