Baratza Sette 30 Conical Burr Grinder

    • Once adjusted it does not grind consistent enough for good espresso
    • Went to my local target and picked up a Mr. Coffee and have been happily enjoying espresso and drip ground coffee for the last month now.
    • Just get it, you’ll never be able to blame bad espresso on your grinder again.
    • So when the PERFECT espresso flavor I'm chasing exists between two single jumps in grind setting.. you can imagine the frustration
    • It’s a good entry level espresso maker and the grind size was clogging up
    • I've owned several less expensive espresso grinders and even one more expensive
    • I use a flair espresso, a manual machine, the adjustments are not extremely precise but in my experience enough to make a really good espresso, it gives perfectly fluffy grounds really fast
    • It grinds fine enough for espresso and coarse enough for regular coffee (drip)
    • This grinder is perfect for espresso yet look elsewhere if you also enjoy the french press
    • Within 1 level of coarsness, the espresso was amazing.
    • Grinds fantastic espresso
    • I know my espresso isn't truly dialed in like how I'd want it to be, but I can accept it for the price difference.
    • I'm really bothered that I'm still on the hunt for a solid espresso grinder that doesn't cost $1K.
    • I then set the grind to the recommended setting and get a perfect espresso grind.
    • The recommended espresso grind numbers were too low for my Delonghi
    • This combined with well roasted beans has come close enough in quality to an espresso from the local coffee bars that I can't tell enough of a difference to merit 'needing' to visit them for good espresso
    • For the value it is a good start for someone that wants a consistent fine espresso, or coarser, grind
    • What i mean by that is i tried a 15 grind and the espresso was bitter, at 17 it was chocolatey and balanced with no bitterness.
