    • I used the small burner and even at high heat the handle didn't get hot
    • I thought this kettle had a nice design with a sturdy handle and temp gauge built into the top.
    • The handle is sturdy and the spout really does have a nice pour.
    • The handle does NOT get hot when the water boils.
    • The handle was really sturdy as well, making the pouring motion a lot easier
    • The handle does not get hot and the built in thermometer is genius.
    • First, the handle gets really hot, especially at the top where it covers the metal attachment to the body of the kettle
    • The handle is strong and doesn't heat up!
    • The handle is fine just don't turn your heat up or let it boil for a long period of time
    • The solder that join's the handle to the pot broke loose and narrowly missed burning me and hitting my chemex coffee pot
    • 1.2L is very, very full, and if you're using it that full on a gas range with a burner that's bigger than the bottom, the heat from the burner can boil the water in the neck and cause it to burp a bit as it gets closer to 190F, and if you're not using a small gas burner, it will get the handle quite hot too, requiring a towel to hold
    • The handle doesn’t heat up like others I’ve had in the past (obviously keep the handle directly away from the heat)2.
    • It heats up fast, the temperature gauge tells me when it's ready to pour, the handle stays cool, and very important, it seems to be well built
    • Not taking anything away from this kettle, but based on our burner size, it forced me to have to turn the heat down considerably to keep the flame pattern from extending past the base which also made the handle get too hot to hold in a bare hand.
    • The handle is still functional after slight melting, so still happy with purchase.
    • Comfortable ergonomic handle makes for easy pouring
    • no melting of the top of the handle like others have experienced, although I had noticed that when using 20oz of water to make two coffees instead of my usual 10 oz for one, the handle was almost too hot to hold unless you gripped just at the very bottom of it
    • The handle does NOT get hot when the water boils.
    • The handle is great and is never too hot to touch
    • The handle is easy to grasp and the spout ensures an even, steady pour.
    • The thermometer feature offers great help in getting the water just right and not too too hot, the handle is great and doesn’t burn up, and the neck pours like a dream
    • It pours nicely, the lid is easy to remove and the handle is sturdy
    • Yes, the handle is plastic, like most kettles, but it's really heavy duty and protects my hand from feeling any heat.
    • The handle feels great and the thermometer tells me the perfect temperature to heat up my water.
    • It was excellent at first but now leaks at the spout and the handle gets extremely hot
    • The handle is smooth and feels comfortable and it pours perfectly
    • This water kettle is really nicely designed with a good handle and a spout the makes pouring for a French press, or pour over coffe or tea, easy and spill free
    • The handle does not get hot if you don't put it over something that can heat it up
    • The only weak point is the handle is not far enough away from the heating element.
    • The design is great: the handle does not get hot and I know when the appropriate water temperature has been reached.
    • I use it for pour over as well as for tea, nothing beats being able to control the temperature
