Maps is where BT shines as it feels modernUsability: While the app was easy to set up it does take a couple more steps then 'turn on radio and set to channel 5', but to never worry again about channel interference on the ski hills is by far worth it.
Battery: Lasted the 4 days as advertised but the ability to charge your phone was a real delight as I often find myself on day trips taking my BT in areas where cell service will likely be good but might run out of juice, so this feature alone was worth the priceSupport

Tremendous utility with groups as well as other individual devices.
If they disconnect from a phone, the status light on them doesn't flash, it just stays dark like the device is off

Beartooth originally promised Mesh Networking and message encryption, but after a year and a half of not delivering, has now removed those features from their website, though they didn't drop the price

Game changer out ski touring in the mountains and great to have as backup in general when in spotty cell service zones.
