It is true, the sound quality is very very nice, but the bass is fairly overpowering, unless you're into ghetto rap or that heavy dubstep junk (no offense, but neither of those are actually music).As far as the build is concerned, these are heavy duty, sturdy and not easily damaged headphones made primarily of some sort of metal

First of all they almost blew my eardrums, when i plugged them into my ipod touch i did not notice the volume was on high and boom

My Bose QC25s, which broke, required 70% volume compared to these Pro's 40-50%, and the noise-cancelling technology hurt my eardrums sometimes.

the only down side about these Headphones is the fact that you don't get a protective case to carry them around with you in the box they give you a beautiful soft white leather bag which is very nice

the beats pro starts to hurt my ears after 3-4hrs of use

I immediately contacted them and explained that it is not the cord, but that the headphone jack on the right ear "turns" when you try to lock the cord in place, keeping it from locking.

But the sound its worst and they hurt your ears after use more than 1 or so
