Great build quality and amazing features for such a good price

IF you can get past some of these illogical limitations, and the near complete lack of documentation, you have some good capability and no less than 4 channels of on-board compression, which you will not find anywhere and at such a reasonable price point.

but the price is right on this one and it works great whether you're recording to an external recorder or directly to a computer/laptop.

Nice flexible mixing board with surprisingly high quality for the price.

My favorite feature is being able to turn up the bass when i am listening to music.

Best feature of Behringer boards is the 2-track send options being able to remove it from the main mix so no stupid echoing for remote recording

USB-out to a Macbook running Audacity works great for recording.

This is a very nice mixer, has been working very nice with me these last 5 months for recording audio via USB.

It started out working very well

Recording quality with the Q1202 is excellent, the onboard FX are also a great feature

In the image shown, you see the rather thin cable to the left and a beefy shielded cable that I'm currently using from an old Blue Snowball and this provides much better quality than the supplied cable despite having the ferrite chokes, there simply isn't enough shielding in that cable for the task.

I now also wire the audio of a few of my other computers and mobile devices through, and then send the mixed signal to my surround sound system (a Onkyo 5.1 system--even though I only get two channels from this board, it still works fine for my uses).Build Quality: The majority of the mixer is constructed of metal, with only plastic pieces being the silver accent pieces that are on the right and left-hand sides, the XLR inputs, and the control knobs (all of which are quite solid-feeling)Sound Quality

Honestly it does what it's supposed to, I get pretty good sound quality albeit not the BEST by any means but for the cost

The USB recording only will record up to 16-bit depth audio (for many recordings, 16-bit is fine, but for those who would like to be able to become "more professional' in the future, it would be a good idea to find another mixer with 24-bit USB support, or to find a USB sound interface that supports 24-bit.

Only thing is the manuals don't tell you how to perfect the sound, and there are no drivers for the USB interface

Everything about it felt cheap & to me sounded of lesser quality

The EQ and FX work phenomenally to get that perfect sound

If you pair this mixer with good microphones, the sound is superb, especially at the low price point

I used this board on Win 7/8 with the ASIO4All driver installed, which caused this to appear on windows as the q1202 and was really a phenomenal board

If you bump the board the wrong way, the power cable is likely to fall out or come loose and cause a disconnect.

This board is perfect for streaming to Twitch, recording podcasts for multiple people, general let's play commentary and much more

Behringer must have run a bad batch of these units which is a shame because this is a really nice board with many features.

Luckily, the board is usually sitting static on my desk, but still...

The only thing I would have liked was a power switch to turn it off when not in use.

This thing sounds bad, real bad

This thing is great, you can get it on sale a LOT on here for under a 100$ and it's a GREAT external soundcard with a lot of options and behringer compatibility if you like that sort of thing

Works as described but odd thing to be missing

Loose power jack causes unit to spontaneously shut off.. also there is no power on/off switch, very poor power design.. otherwise not a bad mixer..

I do have an issue with plugging it into my USB bus, because its power adapter causes a USB hum.

Finicky power cable, plus no FX
