This is a nice tool, and like other Behringer products, the price is right.
but I thought I would give it a try because it seemed to be a good price and size for what I needed.
If you are tight on budget! great mixer for a good price! buy it!
I have used this only a few times since purchasing but this mixer is awesome!Great price and high quality, does not feel cheap at all and actually has some weight to it.
My only complaints with this mixer is the build quality, the parts feel cheap and the bottom isn't rubberized so on a slick wooden or glass desk it moves around more than I would like, but at $90 it's something that I will happily overlook
The sound quality is really good and the noise floor is low.
You shouldn't have to be jigging with the jack to make a connection, that's poor quality parts and workmanship.
Works great used this to replace the power supply of a NW-700 mic and now have good quality mic
I don't know if it's poor design or poor quality control, somewhere along the line, but it's killing this machine.
So when you want to record successive tracks, the input of the new track is delayed in the headphones compared to the old track(s)
That makes this decidedly specialized for recording, not gigging, although one could make good use of it as a secondary mixer or monitor mixer or something
Our live sound use of the mixer was clear and clean as we fed audio from the PC into the USB input mixed with audio from the pastor's mic.

EAsy to use, haven't messed with the interface, just live use and tape recording.
but the interface has a noisy hiss by default regardless of what is plugged into the rest of the mixer and even if every knob is turned all the way down
Instead buy a similarly priced and significantly better A/D interface, (Behringer UMC 202HD, UMC 404HD or Focusrite Scarlet 2i2) and eq. digitally
Easy to set up, lightweight, simple interface, compatible with Audacity software.
The USB interface for recording works great, however, when you use the USB to headphones button, it mutes the other inputs
No need to find and spend another $100+ on a decent interface, because with the USB, it goes straight to the computer, just adjust your output audio setting on your computer (if it doesn’t automatically) and you
I small price to pay to have so much better quality sound than with a USB chat headset.4
You have to pull upward while turning to avoid the majority of the audio quality issues while adjusting volume, and certain points on the knob now disable sound all-together
have great sound and the USb feature works like a charm.
When I connected the mixer for the first time I taught it was defective because it was producing an extremely annoying buzzing sound
So when you want to record successive tracks, the input of the new track is delayed in the headphones compared to the old track(s)
and I believe it is the lowest cost mixer that can be setup for mix-minus (great for Skype interviews, where the caller doesn't hear their own voice echoing).
and i would recommend this as a great starter setup for anyone

It's a simple, easy setup to install the USB extension of the mixer to your laptop and the adapter end you plug into your wall
The narrow base means you won't be able to fully extend the boom with a microphone on it without the setup wanting to topple over and the boom arm adjustable knob broke the first time I used it
Works great as a tool to bring my entire band right into people's headphones
The pre-amps are killer, this is an amazing tool for the home studio...very responsive and studio quality performance for under a hundred bucks...five stars

You are reading snippets from reviews of Behringer Xenyx Q802USB Premium 8-Input 2-Bus Mixer with USB/Audio Interface
Little confusing to set up, but once it's all said and done, this thing is fantastic
- the only thing I don't like about the mixer is the lack of power switch
Thing was working great for a year, had it hooked up to my monitors and subwoofer untouched, and then out of nowhere one of the master outs stopped working
This thing has this hissing noise in the sound that just would not go away
The only good thing that I can say about this mixer is that mine has been quiet, there has never been any hiss or hum.
I use this primarily for OBS and works as it supposed to
This is a CRITICAL design flaw, and it renders the unit nearly useless for any task it would be meant for without additional hardware that raises the investment price to near that of a higher-end unit like the ZEDi-8, which doesn't have this problem
I'm in a small band and we needed a mixer we could use live as well as for home recordings
I'm giving this unit 2 stars because outside of this critical design flaw—which you will only find out about if you contact Behringer about it, I should add—and somehow you don't need this feature, it works well and is sturdy
I read a lot of reviews on here about loose power cables and static in the lines
Imagine loosing power from the mixer in the middle of the show
He is very happy with it, sound quality and output power are good for this kind of usage
The AC cord does NOT fit in properly can slips out easily even at the slightest movement so at any given time, you could lose power because of the cord slipping out of the unit so easily
Product came with either a faulty power cable or a faulty plug in for said cable on the actual unit
I set it up and noticed an awful humming noise coming from the mixer.
This thing has this hissing noise in the sound that just would not go away
I tried cleaning up the noise, hissing, room echo and everything else, to no avail.
There is a noisy 'hiss' on EACH track, which means if you're using all 8 channels it can build up into some pretty awful white noise
Behringer products are very affordable - some view them as cheap - but this is a darn functional mixer that does a great job with very good noise floor
