On linux this thing works like a dream without installing anything

Like just about everything Behringer makes at this price point, the UMC22 is chiefly one thing: cost-effective

I use this daily and nothing for studios or things like that I use it for my main microphone for gaming and it pretty much plug and play can not mess it up.

But the only thing i wish the Hiss was gone I will recommend this product.

and it does all those things very well and easy to use.

The included USB cable appears to have a ferrite core to eliminate hum/interference, so things are quiet too

a lil bit more gain could be great, advice to behringer engineers and other really bad thing was that my box was completely open when i received my package but everything was inside, so that's not a big problem!
