  • I own a BCR2000 which is actually a great tool, though the controls don't feel as solid as one might like and now, after several years, including use in some harsh outdoor conditions, a couple of the buttons don't work properly (which is actually simple enough to fix if one can solder carefully.

Reviews around takeover (5.00 of 5)

  • It means that the knobs can be mapped to different controls, depending on other parameter values and there's no need to worry about soft takeover or accidentally changing a value that one didn't want to change.

  • However, while the encoders on the DV-1 have a much better physical feel than the ones on the BCR, their interaction with the software is far below what one gets from the BCR.

  • Behringer missed a trick here where they could've offered some useful things, like having four modes by simply being able to dim the buttons so that orange is on, blue is a different on and flashing blue is another (and they could've had flashing orange for extra fun).Something else the BCR has that is really useful is being able to set how the LEDs on the encoders are lit.

  • All this one can do is light up the LED closest to the current value.

Reviews around value (5.00 of 5)

  • This isn't a trainsmash by any means, but I did find that the current values of parameters didn't stand out as well as they do with the BCR because I can't configure the LEDs to behave in a way that, for me, matches the parameterTo add
