This item is very lightweight but with some good microphones it's a pretty good system for someone who wants a little karaoke device.
-
I already owned a cheap microphone, so I plugged it in, adjusted the levels, played with the reverb and echo (I prefer just a bit of reverb) and handed the mic over to my girlfriend
-
I also bought two 2 Nady SP-4C dynamic microphones for 10$ each from Amazon with this and they sound great and at ten bucks each with free
-
This means that you can download one of the karaoke apps on your Roku, add some good microphones like a couple Shure PG58's and don't have to worry about voice cancellation and can play the lyrics on your television right from the video output on your Roku.
-
Sound quality is good and it has two adjustable microphone inputs which is nice
-
I recently bought this item along with the recommended dynamic microphone

These settings are good with cheap microphones.
