This is pretty good, but it sounds like the 'boost' option (there's a switch with Fuzz1, Fuzz2, and Boost) is ridiculously loud
It can go from a clean boost to a slight octave up fuzz that has to be heard
It works well as a clean boost though, both for bass and guitar
if you are on a low budget and still want a good sounding fuzz or decent boost, then look no further
here's a cool tip, of you are careful, sometimes you can adjust the switch for the settings to be in between fuzz 2 and the Boost setting so that it'll give you a fuzzy boost rather than just a clean one
If you're on a budget and looking for great stoner/doom tones, this is the pedal for you
As far as the Super Fuzz goes, if your looking at, you already know what sound you are hoping to get out of it: classic fuzz tones
This makes it great to use alongside a guitarist that's using a looser sounding high gain tone that isn't necessarily fuzzy
It might also be useful for a tiny volume boost for cleaner guitar tones, or just to maintain a stronger signal for a path full of effects
One thing to keep in mind with any pedal that is not true bypass - if you string a bunch of them together, you are going to experience the dreaded 'tone suck'.
