Based on my research, the price for this mixer is very reasonable for the quality and I would purchase it again
great price and great customer service at behringer i use the tape in and tape out to connect to my computer with ease.
The mic pre's are good, and the EQ on the first two channels are very nice (again, lookit the PRICE).HAPPY, and would recommend for a similar application.

I just like to use a good mic to get good voice audio into my computer
I however purchased this mixer for use in a very simple PA setup, with two Samson SCQ6 Dynamic Super-Cardioid Handheld Mic and a computer audio input via RCA cables, and utilized a single stereo mix

Ch 1 seemed to work for testing with an XLR feed from my PA, but I still had to add gain (knob half way up), and volume up almost all the way on that channel as well, and I know my signal level is great coming into this board.
If you record into software, that will give more precise levels if needed
These lack EQ, but do have adjustable level and balance
A five-segment LED indicator displays audio level, and an AC adapter is provided
While I am unsure of what sort of PA system that only requires a $100-class mixer has a proper control room, it is a convenient feature to have two pairs of stereo outputs, and can eliminate the need for a distribution amplifier (costly) or Y-cable (inexpensive but degrades signal level and signal/noise ratio) on the output

Still working well as of right now after a having had it for a few months.
I was given advice to buy some that were pricier, but I liked the compact size and features at the price this one was selling for

Minor things but enough to annoy you as to why they did not design better

Most critical, as Behringer promises, the inputs are very clean
It's great/ideal for a dual mic set-up, as only two of the channels can adjust hi/mid/low, and the remaining 4 inputs can only have the pan and volume adjusted

This is difficult in dark settings because the adapter's connection is keyed so as to only fit in one way (does not rotate), but the label at the top is so faint as to be not visible except under bright and direct lighting
There is also a very bright blue LED light on the top which is lit when it is plugged in that becomes very annoying
The glaring power light may be an advantage as it could be viewed for miles and would remind you to turn it off maybe
