Speed is important, and indeed using this on the 5 GHz band was noticeably faster than on my Linksys WRT

The range is amazing, really (especially considering no visible antenna?!), but the speed seems as good, or better than other current models I have used.

Dual band makes it great for my older automation tools that only connect to 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for devices requiring faster speeds, like streaming video and gaming

Followed the easy setup instructions and after the firmware upgrade, was all ready to go

What pleasantly surprised me was that both the signal strength and download speed are pretty decent when I tested it in a remote location of the house

If you game , stream 4k the LAN connection is the way to go for the most reliable strength and efficiency

Surprisingly, the new router seemed to have the same internet issues though the signal strength and coverage was much improved and it now also supported 5Ghz and AC

The N600 still was working perfectly fine but I paid for the faster

Given the low price, I ordered a replacement and so far it is working just fine.

And I don't have to deal with resetting the old, flaky range extender every day -- because that thing is gone!

It has a good range and is fast compared to many I've used in the past

Video streaming never stutters (worth the price of admission alone!), IP cameras no longer require resets, and the range is probably 50% better than my old router

The signal was still too weak even with a range extender to boost the signal

The range is pretty good and reaches everywhere in the house on both floors and even the attic and

I opted for the 1900 and went with belkin (just because of purchasing other belkin products) and this was the 1900 I need at a much cheaper price

The pricing of this router is also quite reasonable as compared to other similar AC1900 routers.

I got this router (at this FANTASTIC PRICE) to replace the AC1750 I had used for the past 4-5 years

Once you use it as an access point it cripples some features that you might like

For me, by far the most important feature of a router is its range

The guest network has a separate password which is a fabulous feature

I have a couple of devices that can take advantage of the dual band capability, so that's also a nice feature (both 2.4 & 5 GHz).

It has a USB port and software support or storage devices and printers, a very nice small feature

Well, the Belkin AC1900 has solved my problems AND given me a massive speed increase for my devices (even the older ones, which in theory shouldn't have been impacted by a faster spec that they cannot take advantage of).

The fact that the interface is not aware of its own settings is in my humble opinion, a big problem

Unit is replacing an older Belkin that was having intermittent problems.

Great deal and works perfectly fine no problems or anything

According to Belkin Customer Support the problem can not be corrected unless you are hardwired in or pay them extra to money.

I originally had the Belkin N600 and it wasnt bad, but i was looking for better performance for a AC rated router and stuck with the brand i know and my performance almost doubled.

Wired performance also seems much better than my previous models (Asus, another Belkin, TP Link) since I now never see the "loading" circle on Netflix or Amazon streaming services on my LAN connected PS3.This router exceeded my expectations, and unless something happens to it (have not had great luck with spikes and such taking out previous modems), I look forward to not changing routers for a long time

In summary, this is easy to setup, looks great, and most importantly has fast performance AND excellent reliability (no reboots, yippee).

I also like the vertical design because it takes up less space on the top of my book shelf

It's slick design, brand new but cost less than others' refurbished routers with the same speed/feature, is a no brainier purchase and I am planing to buy two more to setup additional access points.

I love the streamline design of this router, and I haven't had signal issues anywhere in or around our house.

Perhaps the most telling aspect of the sloppy design of this interface is this - when I access the router I get the following message in a big fat font:We think there's a wiring problem

and I live in a place with really thick wood walks and get good signal all over my 3 story house and its on the bottom floor.

I had been using the older Belkin high-speed router, the AC750, for about 2 years, and although it worked fine, the signal on that older router was too weak to make it to my far bedroom, so I had to add a range extender to boost the signal.

That range extender kept losing the signal and slowed down the entire system.

But with this new AC1900, not only do I get almost double the speed on both my wi-fi and wired ports, the signal is now so much stronger that I was able to get rid of the range extender, and just have this one router (in the same exact location as the old router).

Great product- Arrived as promised - new in box - easy set up - updated firmware from manufacturer- fast as expected!

A great product in this speed/price range - anything faster would be double the price or more.

Talked to Belkin customer support, and they informed me that the product was defective, since the firmware could not be reverted back to its original state

Terrible product, arrived without firmware installed, no firmware on Belkin site will load to hardware, in 25+ years of of professionally installing network hardware the worst 'out of the box' situation I have ever seen

If next router comes to me doesn't work again, I will really give up Belkin.

I just replaced my Belkin AC750 with this unit to hopefully boost my HD wireless Chromecasting from laptops and tablet to my big screen.

I applaud Belkin for setting up randomized passwords straight out of the box since too many users don't do this already

After online guided to deal with it for more than 5 hours, the result from Belkin and Amazon network technology support service was to replace a device or return

JitterThis Belkin had the same latency but introduced less jitter than the older Actiontec and the 5.0Ghz media network was able to match the throughput of the wired Ethernet
