    • We run just water through it to give us nice hot water for making tea or hot cocoa in just a minute, we make coffee with it, and we brew over ice to make iced coffee

    • It is now really loud and will only make about a third a cup of coffee before it splatters hot water all over your counter and shoots splurts of hot steam out.
    • but it works if you pour in hot, warm, cold water
    • I prefer to pour warm water in, instead of waiting for it to get hot when I am in the rush in the
    • Didn't even work after one cup of hot water
    • Works great, boils water for tea
    • it doesn't fill the coffee mug half and doesn't spit out all the water from the coffeemaker buyer beware it will work for little bit then only work 50% it was only $
    • I suppose most people will just dump fresh water in from a full cup, but i end up dumping it all over when i do that.
    • I do use purified water, so that helps.
    • , it has a mesh like filter that pops right out and you can just run it under some hot water and you are good to go.
    • I also like to use fresh aerated water everytime it makes better coffee than
    • It is also easier to get hot water for oatmeal, tea, soup, etc
    • The mug "stand" is pretty flimsy, the water spout sprays pretty erratically, and the coffee I tried making with it was pretty bad, but it heats water well.
    • Filled it with 14oz of clean, cold water as instructed
    • Perfect for dorms--brewing coffee or tea, boiling hot water for oatmeal, etc
    • The 600 amp heating element started producing hot water in less than 10 second and produced a 14 oz cup of coffee in less than 3 minutes, also it comes with a reusable filter.
    • Not worth any amount of money for a machine that dies after 4 weeks, and someone could have gotten seriously hurt between the surface temperature of the machine and leaking boiling hot water onto the counter.
    • I can use it to make hot cocoa by just placing the cup with cocoa under there and letting only hot water in.
    • Love this for single mug fresh brewed coffee and hot water for tea

    • Terrific, quick quiet efficient hot water dispenser Only lasted 6 months, unlike the appliances that we grew up with/sign of the times
    • Second review:I use my second coffee maker (purple) to heat up water and get white plastic pellets in the filter, smaller bits of plastic below the filter, and my water is not clear
    • Ordered another one, 20 dollars every 6 months isn't too bad, probably saved that in not boiling kettle of hot water every morning.
    • It no longer boils the water
    • One of them no longer moves the water through the machine; the whole unit gets extremely hot to the point where the plastic is coming apart, warping and leaking burning hot water all over the counter
    • The only drawback is that the coffee maker burns out after five to six months due to very hard water with a lot of minerals
    • With this, she can throw a tea bag in the top and pour water through and has perfect cup of tea in minutes
    • We have well water
    • Perfect for dorms--brewing coffee or tea, boiling hot water for oatmeal, etc

    • I really do enjoy this unit and I use it for coffee, tea and hot water for making a chocolate drink.
    • Filled it with 14oz of clean, cold water as instructed
    • Takes about two minutes after pouring in the water and adding in the coffee (or I take the filter cup out and let it just give me hot water for tea
    • 20 minutes later, it stopped producing hot water at all
    • I was debating between this, a tea pot, or a hot water dispenser
    • The little U-shaped thing that is supposed to lift the hot water drip spout broke when I opened the lid
    • I suppose most people will just dump fresh water in from a full cup, but i end up dumping it all over when i do that.
    • From the beginning, water truly never got hot.
    • but it works if you pour in hot, warm, cold water
    • 1 minute later, it started making tons of weird noises, 5 minutes later, finally produced a few drops of hot water, enough to cover the bottom of the included cup
    • Works exactly as advertised, and makes a very quick (about 1 - 1.5 minutes) and hot cup of coffee, even with very cold water.
    • Being a purple person (as in love the color), I went for the purple Bella (but it comes in other colors).I just started using it today and while running a cup of hot water through the Bella, my cat decided to do one of his patented flying takeoff leaps off the table that the Bella was on
    • Appears the water intake check valve failed allow the hot water to vaporize and blow back into the tank
    • The instructions say brew plain water to clean the machine
    • Water started to leak profusely and not sure if a tube burst, in/around 15 use
    • Even with the unit cooled off, the switch lit up when turned on but the water failed to heat and brew
    • water and grounds will be no problem.
    • But had to run a few hot water passes it smelled of plastic bad when first opened
    • And I descale it with a small bit of vinegar and hot water to ensure everything is clean and descaled
    • I also have no problems with grounds either getting in the water well or the coffee.
    • It's a great little unit for a cup of coffee or even to run hot water for tea.
    • I washed it before using (just running a light water/vinegar solution), and let 2 cyles of pure water run through.
    • I use 12 oz of cold water, and it takes no more then five minutes and the coffee is done
    • Saves energy and makes 14 oz of hot water in just a few minutes
    • The machine made a terrible growling sound then burning hot water came leaking out all over the counter.
    • It leaked coffee/water out of the back panel all the time, forcing us to keep a rag or towel under it so it wouldn't stain the counter top
    • The water doesn't get that hot but it will do.
    • The machine made a terrible growling sound then burning hot water came leaking out all over the counter.
    • I run white vinegar through my maker about 2-3 times per year to get rid of hard water deposits and help it run cleanly.
    • 15 minutes later, had an 1/8th of a cup of hot water
    • Had mine for four months then burning hot water started pouring out of it from the bottom while it was plugged in.
    • Today i poured my water in and it gushed out as the seams had come apart.
    • The part that pumps hot water onto the spout is connected to lid via a very flimsy piece of plastic, while its fairly minor, it seems like it will be something that will break off with regular use
    • Run 2 14oz 1 part vinigar and 2 parts water---- 2 times through--- then one cup clean water.
    • The only reason I went with 4 stars instead of 5 is it could have designed a little better, such as having it to where you filled up the water well and choose a cup size, instead of having to add a cup of water at time.
    • Excellent one cup coffee maker, easy to use, gets water hot needed for good coffee, comes with nice sized mug.
    • Boil the water, pour it slowly over the coffee and enjoy
    • You fill the cup that you're going to drink the coffee out of with water, dump that water in the reservoir on the top.
    • I ran a cup of hot water through to clean the machine, then OPENED A POD (GASP!) and emptied it into the filter basket.
    • This thing must be heated by the sun because once you press the on button the water is hot and begins brewing
    • The water did not heat very hot but in all we did get a nice cup out of it
    • I'm guessing it works as I am far too zombie in the morning to use the bloody thing
    • This is a nice one cup maker, the only draw backs are it doesn't make it as hot as
    • I have to say for as cheaply as it's made and the low
    • I'm concerned the permanent filter may break as it seems very delicateFor the money, I'm going to give this 4 stars
