Super Resolution is essentially BenQ's edge enhancement algorithm
The extra resolution offers a competitive advantage as well
The monitor features AMD FreeSync support (40-60Hz via both DisplayPort and HDMI) as well as a super resolution sharpening feature and BenQ's Brightness Intelligence Plus sensor which can adjust the brightness and color temperature of the display based on room conditions
scenarios-2k resolution works with PS4 Pro - PS4 Pro doesnt support 2k resolution and many monitors look terrible when converting from 4K to 2k or 1080 to 2k
The extra resolution offers a competitive advantage as well
I love the product but the only past 4 months y ahora no esta trabajando como se supone tiene unas lineas con colores por toda la imagen vienen i van es frustrante me
1080 / 1440 P the color saturation is so unwatchable, all black/dark colors are extremely pixelated to the point where it is impossible to watch anymore
Overall, amazing product will definitely recommend to any gamer that wants great response time with amazing video quality.
To the staff at beach Camera to the people at fed ex and to the the makers of and the repair staff at Ben q thanks for a wonderful product and experience
Overall for the price and specs it is still not a terrible product
Dont buy this worst 4k gaming monitor for my entire life
I really enjoyed my overall gaming quality the only fault of this master piece is it's audio
The monitor looks modern, stylish, and does not scream gaming
Looks terrible gaming on Xbox One X - details belowOnly 60hz - even though console is locked at 60fps, future proofing a bit would be nice, 144hz preferredIn short, this monitor is a great value if you want one in this tempting price range
If you have an xbox one x this is the perfect gaming monitor to bring out the best in your xbox
has packed a ton of modern features into this monitor at a great price, you will be very happy with this decision
Honestly if you are looking for a good 4K hdr monitor for a good price then look somewhere else, the color was washed out and too bright out of the box.
Still in my opinion this is a great monitor and at a great price.
Definitely not worth the price.
This is a good 4k HDR monitor for the affordable price you pay for
The picture quality is great, fast response time, smooth, great
Televisions are designed as devices for passive viewing with an emphasis on picture quality-- which often times means sluggish pixel response and undefeatable image processing that can introduce lag
1080 / 1440 P the color saturation is so unwatchable, all black/dark colors are extremely pixelated to the point where it is impossible to watch anymore

1ms response, UHD, solid 28" matte screenEnables FreeSync on Xbox One XCons:Shotty BenQ control panel with usual lack of remoteExtremely poor speakers, don't even try it lol
Cons:• No height-adjustable stand• Better off ignoring HDR, isn't quite up
Honestly if you are looking for a good 4K hdr monitor for a good price then look somewhere else, the color was washed out and too bright out of the box.
I’m a little worried that the HDR is going to bug out again eventually, but for now everything is ok
Overall I'd say this is a great purchase for anyone looking for a nice, affordable 4k HDR monitor.
Some say it's "fake HDR", but as someone who has never seen true

Looks great, no backlight bleed, no dead pixels, easy interface and great speakers
Pros-Pretty damn good speaker: I mean sometimes you want to rest your ears taking off headsets and still want to listen then this will be a great choice-Great picture quality: Since all youtubers tell you everything about color accuracy, I'm not going through all the details here but compared to others (companies like LG, Asus, Dell, etc), It delivers an average-ish color accuracies and I think it's just fine (unless you have some dead pixels or defective panel)
There are a lot who say that the speakers aren’t good but in all honesty they are usable
*update**. Purchased a new video card and the screen flicker is completely gone
Good product for inexpensive 4K PS4 setup
It started with the occasional screen flicker as if it were turning off and turning on, then as time progressed these "flickers" became more frequent and lasted longer
I’ve had the monitor for 4 weeks and have noticed significant screen flicker on static images in games, specifically Fallout 76 while running 1440p @ 144hz.
I like the size and the 4K, but everything seems washed out on it
No point in the great input lag if the display is horrible and you can't see the enemy.
Works as it’s suppose to , only thing I would change is the border around monitor.
I love the eye savor mode, I can game over 12 hrs a day some sessions and my eyes aren't strained as with my old television.
The input lag is great, colors are great, viewing angle is great
Using a displayport 1.4 cable to make sure I got max settings out of this [honestly, the whole monitor world was another beast I had never thought existed], and even though the it claims the monitor isn't validated as G-Sync compatible, I've had no issues leaving the G-Sync option enabled
contrast/blacks are typical for a monitor in this price range, it is an overall good looking gaming monitor with great out-of-the-box color accuracy and fast pixel response
The picture and text look nice all the pixel
I tried the ASUS VG249 ($250) which also had a dead pixel, but the text was okay
It is dim and cannot be turned brighter, it had a dead pixel in the middle of the screen
so I can get the most out of that sweet pixel count right
No detail is lost but things can end up looking a little milky when the scene goes really dark
The HDR feature of the monitor is great for dark scenes in a movie
However, if there is some differentiation still apparent in the dark black and bright white scenes, the HDR function will help pull them out of the background so you can differentiate the hidden person or scene in the dark background.
The stuff I watched in 4k looked great when the scenes were bright, but in any darkness at all it got hard to see
but it's hard to watch movies with dark scenes because of it
I fired up some DOOM 2016 to see how the response time and motion blur was and I can genuinely tell you that you will notice the drop in clarity and smoothness
the EL2870U is pretty good, but its high setting is just not as good compared to its 1080p rl27 counterpart, the only fix around is to set it to premium, which actually does a great job at cutting out as much motion blur as it can, but it visibly degrades image quality quite a bit
Concerning color vibrancy and motion blur, based on my impressions, Asus Rog pg279q has the slight upper hand in those two aspects
On the rl2755, the AMA default is high, and it does such a good job of cutting down on motion blur yet preserving image quality, the likes of which no other 60hz monitor can quite replicate (some come very close, though, and it may be so close that it doesn't really matter for most people, but I have grown fairly sensitive to it in a game like Rocket League, where there's constant motion in the ball moving, car(s) moving, camera moving, etc..., and blurriness is terrible and makes things feel
Most gaming monitors are all 1 ms response time (important to reduce motion blur), and their input lag tends to be around the same (10-11 ms for 60hz monitors, best it can get at 60hz), but how they go about handling motion blur can vary, Asus has a tracefree setting for example, and BenQ has their AMA setting
The remote was a godsend when I figured out the above HDR issue.
There are some known HDR issues with certain
When I turned HDR off, the Colors looked normal again and the monitor would try to emulate HDR.Luckily Amazon replaced the monitor for me without a second thought and the HDR issue resolved with the hardware replacement.
BenQ told me that the HDR issue is most often caused by firmware which makes me feel a little better.
