This BenQ GW2270 has good contrast ratio, good colors and great value at the $90
My biggest need at the moment is a display that has good contrast and colors at even low brightness, something this monitor does not really do.

Even at zero brightness and with nvidia controller brightness set low, this display still needs a software dimmer to give the best results...and then the contrast and color does definitely suffer.- There does seem to be some light along the edges of the monitor, not sure if its just glare from the bezels but it's very distracting
Color quality is acceptable and not quite as accurate as my MacBook Retina Display, though the black levels on the BenQ are the deepest I have ever seen on a matte monitor

Quality is great and the screen is bright with vivid true colors
This flicker free screen, now hooked to my laptop, increased my computer time with less effects
This monitor randomly refreshes the screen, turning black for a second or two before resuming proper functioning
It's a bright screen, adjusts to nearly any computer (I have a newer laptop, on Win 10, and an older desktop, with Win 7)
The backlight does not illuminate the screen consistently across the length, so the brightness varies side to side and depending on where you are in relation to it.
