So while I am by no means a small person, I am measurably below the weight limit (as of 5 minutes before writing this review)

I don't exceed the chairs weight limit

I weigh 250 pounds (which is the weight limit) so it didn't handle the extra weight well

Perhaps a person well below the weight limit of this chair would not have a problem, but I would caution anyone over 225 lbs to purchase this chair

Within 6 months, the main support gave (I'm well within the weight limit and was not hard on this chair), and the chair was permanently leaning to one side

I'm not the smallest guy in the world and in fact exceed the weight limit for this chair but have no issues so far
