This is a better type phone mount compared to the types you adhere to your windshield - less obstruction of your view

but I think it just wasnt the right phone mount for my vehicle and phone

I have to say this is the perfect car mount for VERTICAL vents.

I have not been able to shake the phone loose with the thin magnet affixed to the outside of the case (not for the lack of trying).I use my phone operationally for work and this mount is peace of mind

An improvement might be a little more flexibility with the vent holders for cars that have narrow vertical vents

Next to the nice price and customer service this is a great phone holder

My main objective was unlike other magnetic vent holders this would allow me to attach to the bottom vent, place my phone horizontally and not block the air vent much on the passenger side of my car

For this reason alone I actually prefer this design over the round magnets I have had in the past

Yes it fits on my car vent perfect but the magnets won't hold my phone during a sharp turn or bump

I traveled over some pretty rough roads and my phone has never fell from the holder.
