Since my original trouble getting the device to stick to the dash, it has not come loose in about two weeks use in temperatures from just below freezing to about 50 degrees.

If the phone is turned horizontal rather than vertical, it works sufficiently (and if your vehicle does not have a console screen, then the Bestrix device would work very well!).

I would recommend this device and I have tried various vent mounts and didn't like how they secured and didn't really have a good place to use them.

Great for placing your device in to watch tv, using the GPS, and listening to music

I like the device better than the ones that clip on to the vents as it seems the phone would get the phone very hot when the heater's on in the winter.

The harder I squeezed the sides, the more it popped the phone loose
