In applications where one does not need a ball and socket to adjust angles, I strongly prefer this mount to the ones that did have a ball and socket adjustment

Good quality vent mount, but unfortunately it doesn't fit the vent on my late model Hyundai Santa Fe as the "stylish" dash is at several angles

Also, I didn't consider that when placing an air vent mount holder the weight of the phone will cause the vent to drop down, as well as become useless if you have small vents.

After my original rating I had just decided I would just do without a vent mount until i had time to do more research.

I like the design that is simple & not ugly like some other recommended (& more expensive) mounts.

It has a rotational feature which is pretty cool, but when you mount your phone a simple hard turn while driving is enough to rotate the mount and distract you since you have to reset it to the right position again
