I prefer this style of Highlighter to the thicker versions available for my classroom because it is easier to highlight what you need highlighted and nothing else.
I totally prefer this style to the typical chisel types out there

I'm not entirely sure what the benefit here is, but the tips taper to a fine point, which I guess you can mash down on to lay down a broader highlight
However, I used it and quickly saw that the tip is flexible and thus allowed me to broaden the highlight while also letting me make finer point underlining.

Otherwise the highlighter ink is a bright fluorescent yellow -- I don't have a black light on hand, but I assume highlights made with this ink would glow under that light in case you're studying at a rave, I suppose
