solid base, love the flexible side lamps and the plastic shades look just like translucent glass.

It is really easy to set up and has a sturdy base to keep it in place.

The center pole is very sturdy and the base is very solid

I've found that only the long-lasting, almost impossible to burn out florescent bulbs actually have any sort of longevity in this lamp.

Really bad packaging

The box and foam packaging were secure about protected the lamp.

The packaging was excellent, leaving virtually no chance for shipping damage.

The packaging was a bit flaky and suggest you assemble in a room you can clean because you end up with Styrofoam bits all over the place

Lamp is sturdy and looks very nice even though the shades are plastic (I do prefer plastic so they are not easy to break, but it's still great that they look nicer than you'd expect

i thought the lamp shade is glass instead of the cheap plastic, and the base is not heavy enough, i tried to return this, but Lamp Plus wanted meto pay for the return shipping charge which the charges is more than the lamp, i am very disappointed with this famous company !
