I prefer the orange glow

There is a very fair orange glow around the outside of the viewable

I like the way it looked from the outside on the rift

All in all, the Bionik facepad might work great for you, but after using it for a few months, I think I will return to using the original one for now

So I like how the Oculus Rift looks with this, its snaps in place well but there are some major flaws

It doesn't feel nearly as soft as the original, but I think it might be doing a better job at wicking sweat.

It does a great job of wicking up sweat, which wipes off easily and leaves no trace once it dries

Otherwise, while it's not comfortable for me, it does feel well-built

, i bought 2 of then hopping to be a good replace for my already worn original face plate.the build of the plastic is good and fits ok on the Oculus but the bad quality on the foam is preventing me to use it anymore

Could just be my head shape or something, but its just physically not comfortable, and the orange in my vision is really distracting.

Sadly the quality and design of the origination face pad was absolutely substandard and fit poorly

The Bionik face pad does offer more support in the form of two different density foams but it does not get a high rating due to it not being as comfortable as the stock soft foam pad!Bionik face pad is better constructed and hypoallergenic, a great selling point for this product is a household with multiple users

On the positive side the pad is comfortable, but that comfort is outweighed by the problems I described above.

I describe the original Oculus Rift face pad as sandpaper on my face however, after a time I got used to it OR "broke it in"

I can't write a proper review without talking about my experience with the stock facial interface first for comparison

I read all the bad reviews on this and almost did not purchase it

but, I was very much looking forward to reading good reviews

but i would still suggest it for active games while light bleed is a bit of a problem it give great airflow to your face and keeps you cool the, comforablty is something you get used to

The next day I played for 3-4 hours I not only had marks for 4 FULL HOURS it also left me feeling a bit strange, hard to explain, something like VR dizziness which I haven't had in over a year (been doing VR for about a year and a half), I think it was just cutting off circulation even though the headset was not overly tight.
