Not that it was bad mind you, but I was becoming nostalgic for the days before my keurig, when the rich aroma of fresh-brewed coffee was the thing that would wake me up in the morning, get my eyes open and feet on the floor

The best part is I can smell the coffee brewing every morning all the way upstairs which is the best alarm clock ever

A Nice brew every time

We mainly do cold-brew for our daily coffee, but wanted a occasional drip maker for extras/company/etc

It looks good, brews quick, and makes a good cup of coffee

:-)We have a "pod" coffee-maker which we like, but at times we want a stronger brew, so we use this one when that need sets in

Not sure why you'd buy a more expensive one unless you don't like to hear your coffee brewing (I love that).

But it seems put together very solid & brews some great coffee :-)

Great coffee maker, rapid brew, without neglecting to get all the taste out of the grounds

Shame to throw away an otherwise fine working coffee maker that likely has a loose connection or short, I will never know because for some reason B&D uses these ridiculous screws to discourage self reliance.

I don't know if the manufacturer changed components and got a bad batch, but this model isn't as good as the B&D model from years past
