    BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Black, DLX1050B

    • It is assembled with special screws (not hex or torx or anything I've ever seen) that need a special driver to disassemble so I cannot troubleshoot it myself without breaking the housing to open it up.
    • The only problem now is that the all-black housing makes it hard to see the water level when filling it, and we use the glass carafe to measure the water level instead.
    • so if you forget you aren't worried about it burning down the house, people love the coffee it
    • However, I give two stars since Black and Decker realizes the same terror I realize when brewing a pot of coffee, if this thing runs for more than two hours, it may burn down the house
    • I was worried that it would burn the house down.
    • The plastic housing on top made it impossible to use after a few uses
    • Maybe I’m a rough user, but I’ve owned my GM 4-cup brewer for a good 7 year’s before I had to replace it
    • Our future son-in-law had some requirement’s for a coffee-maker: programmable, clock, 12 cup, durable (not cheap looking or functioning), easy to add water and easy to clean
