    BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Black, DLX1050B

    • LOUD POPPING SOUND EVERY
    • I'm guessing now that the loud 'snap' sound was electrical arcing inside the unit - something you don't want happening on your kitchen counter
    • Coffee pot is very noisy with a popping unusual loud sound
    • Or even 10. 8 is about the most, because if you add the appropriate amount of water and coffee grounds to the pot for 8 or more cups (per the instructions in the provided book), it overflows the brewing chamber and the coffee spills on the counter, down the side on the burner (making a sizzling hissing sound) and grinds pour into the pot from which you drink
    • Did not make the sound when brewing, only when warming
    • Maybe I’m a rough user, but I’ve owned my GM 4-cup brewer for a good 7 year’s before I had to replace it
    • Our future son-in-law had some requirement’s for a coffee-maker: programmable, clock, 12 cup, durable (not cheap looking or functioning), easy to add water and easy to clean
    • thanks B&D for making another junk product
    • I don't know if the manufacturer changed components and got a bad batch, but this model isn't as good as the B&D model from years past
    • Shame to throw away an otherwise fine working coffee maker that likely has a loose connection or short, I will never know because for some reason B&D uses these ridiculous screws to discourage self reliance.
    • Seems to work just as dependably as the old B+D so far, and it makes a good cup of coffee.
