I really loved this coffeemaker for the first 5-6 months -- it brews well (about 6 minutes for a pot), looks nice, the stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee drinkable for 3-4 hours

I contacted HB and they wanted me to pay $12 for them to ship the same crappy coffeemaker to me.

Use this coffeemaker every day and I love it.

Debating whether to get another B&D as this was a great coffeemaker while the lid worked, and so many other coffeemakers have their share of problems too.

The coffee was decidedly cooler than that produced by our several years older, non-name brand and inexpensive coffeemaker

If you have a large househould this is the perfect coffeemaker given that it does 12 cups (not the usual eight) and with the insulated, streamlined carafe, it can sit out for a while and not lose much in the way of temperature.

We loved this coffeemaker because of the thermal coffee pot and how well it keeps the coffee warm for a long period of time.

After over a year of use, we absolutely love this thermal coffeemaker and will never go back to the traditional glass carafe

All in all, this is a great programmable coffeemaker, and a good replacement for our 15-year-old B&D model.

I cleaned/ran twice, used a coffeemaker cleaning product and still tastes like burned plastic and metallic what can't be good for your health

This is easy to use and adjustable as to how bold you really want your cup of Joe

Not having bells and whistles didn't bother me as it was reliable and made good coffee right until the end.

For those that like coffee extremely hot, this may not be for you, it will not be as hot as with a typical coffee maker
