BLACK+DECKER 12-Cup Programmable Coffeemaker, Black and Stainless Steel, CM2030B

    • I really loved this coffeemaker for the first 5-6 months -- it brews well (about 6 minutes for a pot), looks nice, the stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee drinkable for 3-4 hours
    • Very good quality at a reasonable price, the stainless steel pot keeps coffee hot for a long time, no complaints from me.
    • Stainless steel in and out means it won't break
    • It is easy to use, has the stainless steel carafe and keeps coffee warm for hours.
    • (What other 12 cup coffee maker with a stainless steel thermal carafe are you going to find for under $50?)2
    • I bought this as a back-up to my Cuisinart pot with stainless steel carafe and was very disappointed in the Black&Decker.
    • on the up side, the coffee stayed hot for very long time, and i like the all stainless steel pot
    • I've had other stainless steel pots that were impossible to get hand inside for cleaning
    • Brews coffee well, but the top of the stainless steel pot has come apart after only 3 months of use and it isn’t clear how to reattach the spring
    • I purchased because of the brew strength option as well as the stainless steel pot which keeps coffee hotter and eliminates the burner on the bottom.
    • The stainless steel pot is a PLUS
    • She's plastic;except for the stainless steel thermal carafe of course
    • It has all the main features we're were looking for: stainless steel carafe rather than a glass / hotplate, reasonaby small footprint and height, easy to set and use delayed brewing feature, 12 cups capacity (larger than the 10 cup Mr. Coffee we had, more for when we have guests than daily usage), and price
    • I purchased this coffee pot after a Mr Coffee stainless steel coffee maker went out.
    • Good coffee maker but the stainless steel craft makes it well worth the money.
    • For a cheapie, however, that one uses only intermittently, it's handsome, it's stainless steel, and it works okay for a bunch of folks wishing for a first and second hot cup in one morning/breakfast-time/after-dinner setting.
    • This is the best deal out there for a stainless steel thermal carafe coffee maker that makes 12 cups
    • My hubby is a crazy coffee drinker and I was looking for a 12 cups stainless steel coffee maker
    • Great design with the double walled stainless steel makes that possible and coffee tastes the same as well 3 hours later without the burner constantly warming it.
    • However, one down-side to the stainless steel thermal carafe is that you can't see at a glance how much coffee is left in the pot (as you can with a glass carafe), but that's a small and unavoidable price to pay for better coffee
    • This coffee maker looks good, silent, brews fast and the stainless steel is easy to clean
    • This coffeemaker would look especially nice in a kitchen that has stainless steel appliances
    • I love the cleaner design and stainless steel pot for keeping the Oot warm verses a burner!
    • Love the stainless steel carafe.
    • I wanted a basic machine, programmable with a stainless steel carafe (so I won't break it) that was affordable.
    • The stainless steel carafe even though stated as double insulated wall the quality is not really something I would give high marks on
    • Also there was like glue all around the stainless steel were it meets the plastic
    • Is really so difficult to design a simple coffeemaker that makes good tasting coffee, with a good stainless steel thermal carafe to keep coffee hot, with a large display, that’s easy to read
    • Stainless steel carafe is the way to go
    • The pot is huge (a lot of stainless steel pots were only 10 cups, this one makes 12.
    • Love stainless steel.
    • I loved the stainless steel carafe, however it has a serious design defect; the coffee brews through a hole near the center of the lid, it's a pretty generous sized hole.
    • We bought this one specifically for the stainless steel carafe and the 12 cup capacity with option for just a 1-4 cup brew
    • I'm using a stainless steel filter with it.
    • that way I get to keep the already seasoned stainless steel carafe.
    • Stainless steel carafe was nice because it kept a hot pot for about 4 hours
    • Pros: steel, double walled carafe; nothing to turn off when its done brewing; carafe has a wide mouth with a lid that is easy to get off and on for easy cleaning and filling; you have to press the release button for coffee to pour out the spout; carafe is not too heavy to handle nimbly even when completely full; you can place the carafe on a surface without a hot pad, the bottom/ the entire outside doesn't get hot (that also means there is no heating element on the machine, could be a con for some); and easy to program
    • I sometimes wonder if the inside of the pot is really stainless steel because it is so difficult to clean out the coffee stains.
    • I simply carry the stainless steel pitcher outside with no worries
    • The design is cheaply made and even the allegedly stainless steel carafe had stains after the first use
    • I read many of the reviews on this and emailed them to make sure the interior of the pot is also stainless steel, not aluminum, like many are.
    • I ordered it originally because I was tired of replacing broken glass carafes and felt the stainless steel carafe would be much more durable
    • Thermos is lacking glass interior, it's only made of stainless steel.
    • Its double walled vacuumed sealed stainless steel
    • The stainless steel keeps it hot with no need for a dangerous hotplate underneath
    • The stainless steel and black fits in well in our kitchen.2
    • In my all stainless steel kitchen, this is an attractive counter top addition.
    • We had to go back to using our other stainless steel coffeemaker (different brand but starts with a "C"), which keeps the coffee hot pretty much all day.
    • Granted the stainless steel pot keeps it warmer than a glass pot would, but it would be great if it stayed on for a while after brewing
    • quiet, easy to clean, great size for the footprint and the stainless steel carafe keeps coffee hot for hours
    • Love the stainless steel thermal mug
    • After breaking my 3rd glass pot in the past few years I started looking into getting a stainless steel pot
    • The reason that carafe doesn’t keep coffee hot very long, is the metal inside is not 18-10 gage stainless steel, and maybe why some consumers are tasting metal
    • Because those first couple pots of coffee tasted like stainless steel and by brewing coffee instead of just plain water, you help remove that metallic taste.
    • Thought i would like the stainless steel pot better then glass
    • This coffeemaker features brushed stainless steel on the operating panel and a brushed stainless steel insulated carafe
    • It's not a cheap carafe, stainless steel inside and out with a heavy, quality feel to it
    • The stainless steel thermal carafe is vacuum-sealed to ensure the coffee stays hot and drinkable for hours and the Perfect Pour spout does away with spills and drips
    • Also, if you have stainless steel appliances, it adds to a uniformed and complimentary look
    • n’t smell the coffee in the other room and down the hallway like with my other machine
