It seems like there is a design flaw that needs to be worked out.
-
The biggest design flaw with this coffee maker is the carafe lid
-
Now let's talk design flaws
-
However, the issue I have with it is that I think there is a safety design flaw in the lid to the thermal pot that can cause you to easily burn your hand
-
Seems to be a design flaw.
-
but I think there’s a design flaw.
-
It's the 'modernized' version of a simple, plastic, glass-carafe coffeemaker B&D used to sell for about $22, which had fewer design flaws, made coffee just as well, and had a bottom heating element
-
One having an issue might be bad luck, 2 is a design flaw

Wasn't crazy about getting a "programmable" maker (as I don't use this feature EVER), but figured since it was B&D would be better than the others
-
At least I can use the carafe for pour-over until I get a replacement (definitely NOT another inexpensive B&D).
-
Easy set up and make a great cup(s) of coffee.
-
its great i bought one for my daughter too
-
Love how it keeps coffee warm i also like how it show me how long ago it was made.
-
The carafe works great to keep coffee warm but that's about the only positive I have for this pot right now.
-
As I like lots of milk in mine, I never though much of it but being now that it doesn't work and someone else had a scorched counter from
-
Returning because coffee comes out Luke warm n doesn’t stay hot
-
I like the pot but think l got a lemon.
-
I love the steel carafe as it will not break if you accidentally bump something.
-
Coffee flavor was not as good as with my old pot, but more coffee helps
-
Terrible leaking from the carafe evry time you pour as well as from the maker itself whenever you remove the pot
