letting the coffee sit in the caraffe it lost all heat, after an hour coffee was barely luke warm - great concept but not a good product.

Disappointing product the coffee was always just warm even if you filled the carafe with hot water before making the coffee

The company is clearly playing the odds that most faulty products will either be discarded without notifying the company or that the length of communication combined with the hoops to jump through for a replacement will deter enough victims to not replace the appliance

Wasn't crazy about getting a "programmable" maker (as I don't use this feature EVER), but figured since it was B&D would be better than the others

At least I can use the carafe for pour-over until I get a replacement (definitely NOT another inexpensive B&D).

n’t overcook the coffee for a burnt taste but the pot leaks around the lid when you pour it
