The TR2400SD has a brushed stainless steel exterior that will match contemporary decors, making a good housewarming present

I replaced my plastic toaster with this one because I liked the stainless steel look but find it gets very hot.

And it goes well with my other stainless steel appliances

I use the same stainless steel cleaner on the outside of this toaster as I do on my other stainless steel appliances.

It's simple to use, easy to clean, and seems to be of great value ... for a toaster

I did like the finish, the option for frozen items, and the adjustable doneness knob

She said it is beautiful and the finish on it is exceptional

The crumb tray is easy to take out and empty too

and it toasts evenly which makes it a winner- also easy to clean outside and the crumb tray.

The retro design is neatly done, and the crumb tray is easy to clean.

Not sure why one reviewer can't get bagels in the slots--they're more than ample and the crumb tray makes it easy to clean out.

The two extra-wide slots are very useful for larger bread slices.- The frozen button really works well

The slots are deep enough for Eggos to be fully inside, and wide enough to accommodate the wider breads (like Oroweat) without wadding them up, or having to flip them half-way.

but we love the wide slots, ease of use and great toasting ability so much we are switching this one with the one we have at home!

I found this surprising because the toasters of my youth had a little platform that the bread would rest on, with slots down either side where crumbs could fall

I love Black and Decker products, and own a few of them

This one is simple, no extra buttons to mess up on us down the road, easy to clean, doesn’t take up to much counter space, matches the rest of our stainless steel kitchen products, and is a brand that’s made in the USA.

The toast comes out perfect and looks so good on my counter

In place of the platform that raises and lowers, there is a sort of basket-like concoction that makes it impossible for a normal sized anything (short of maybe a very skinny french toast stick?) to get through and fall too close to the heating element

If you are looking for an affordable toast with stylish looks, this is the one for you.

It has not burned the toast yet and still works great after 2 weeks

Anyway, I toasted two slices just to check it out, and they smelled fine, but I threw them away on general principles

This is a nice 2 slice toaster.

It performs better and toasts faster than the much more expensive 4 slice toaster we use in our kitchen.

The next two slices smelled and tasted fine, though there's still a lingering smell in the toaster, which I'm sure will dissipate

I think that “Extra Wide Slot” can work for something like a waffle (stiff, with some bevel to the edges), but due to the design you'll have to first open the inner cage to insert many types of food to take advantage of the 1-3/8” maximum opening
