I admit there was a terrible smell when we first started using this toaster where I thought I definitely need to return

Let me first comment on the negative reviews, horrible smell, glass door breaks, toaster burns a lot of toast, and the knobs aren’t marked

It did have a little bit of a funny smell the first time we turned it on.

Just remember to heat the oven on 350 for 15 or 20 minutes for the first time before using it to burn off the new smell
