This quaint pot does its job for a decent quality price

Great product, easy to use, perfect quality and good price.

The only thing to note at least for me is that it broke after 7 months, but for the price honestly no complaints.

If you want to get a cuppa coffee halfway through your coffee will come pouring out all over the hot plate

Meantime, the coffee tastes good and stays hot on the base hot plate.

Unfortunately, the warming plate gives off an unpleasant plastic smell when heated.

Additionally, I'm not sure if this model simply lacks a hot plate, but it does not keep coffee warm whatsoever

The hot plate is very hot but if I leave it on for more than 10 minutes the coffee tastes a little burnt

I have always liked Black and Decker products but this is the worst coffee pot I have ever owned

The second anything other than a drug store Blend is in this filter, the machine freaks out and starts to overflow.

The machine itself works perfectly and makes delicious coffee.

However, my machine was missing the filter when I received it

It doesn't seem particularly robust, but it's also not a complex machine

The machine is nice....until I realized it doesn't have an auto-shutoff like most other coffee makers

It is just a basic coffeemaker, on-off button, easy to use, easy to clean the filter, no paper filters needed with it so that's nice

This is now the second Black & Decker coffee maker product I've purchased having issues with water leaking out of the bottom after just a few weeks of use.

My theory being to cool it off in the position I want it to stay, because that plastic is fairly flexible, especially when it's warm.

Also, for those that are interested, the plastic used is polypropylene, a food safe plastic, suitable for high heat.

I used it 3 times and each time it had a strong plastic smell.

Also the coffee tasted great from the first pot and no nasty plastic taste.

Also i would recommend buying small coffee filters, the coffee maker comes with a little plastic one that works fine, but i think the actually paper filters would work allot better!
