Was a great product until the handle broke after using it a handful of times

This worked great, until the handle broke trying to flip.

Worked great for a year, then the handle broke... used for a while like that until it started to cook half way and shut off

For those of you who have the issue of the handle breaking so easily I feel as if that should be covered under the warranty if its defective

Well as the batter rose in the iron a loud pop happened and the little plastic thingy by the locking handle broke and you couldn't open or rotate the iron into the opening position

This waffle maker and I had some good times, and honestly, it could have been my ex's fault that the handle broke

Waffles are every bit as good as those made with the heavy, expensive irons.

Recommend under 3/4 cup batter as it seems to come out the front of mine while cooking with full amount.
