I'm a professional Wood worker and this hand sander is the BEST!Easy to use, does a nice job, easy paper on and off!Excellent B/D, thank you! Thanks - Joe
This is the first sander I have ever bought -- and I did a lot of research and felt that this would be the best buy for my buck....
It works exactly as anticipated and was a great buy for the value.
Its a good buy if these are things you are concerned about and have a budget to stick to.
I would recommend this product and the price is terrific.
Good product, definitely need to buy more attachable sanding discs with different grits.
Lousy product, lousy return policy.
Not worth going with Black and Decker just spend a little extra to buy a better product
Good sander for the money painted the roof on a truck and the sander worked great bought another just to have 2 glad to see black and decker still making a good quality product
This new sander rotates extremely slow and takes a great deal of time to remove excess wood

I have only used it briefly on a sample to be sure it is operational, and it seems to work as it should.
Perfect tool with great quality at a price more acceptable than other brands
but it seems to be of good quality; then again, it's a Black & Decker, and pretty heavy
, motor is weak, dust collector doesn’t fit right, and poor quality.

I wasnt sure because of the price how it would hold up, but it worked perfect on the dresser i sanded!

know how well the B&D will stand up over time.

The best thing I can say about this is that my general contractor loved it and was going to buy one!
Only thing is a little weird to hold on certain things.
This one works fine however the shape was the only thing that lead me to exchange it.
This thing "was" great for the first few times I used it but something gave inside it during light use (while sanding pine for wooden flags) and it just wouldn't work right afterwards
Compared to my previous Orbital sander - which was a B&D - this thing is fantastic!

On a prior project, my much more expensive craftsman orbital’s motor died and couldn’t take the carbon fiber

I do wish the power button was easier to operate and the grip had better vibration absorption but for the money I spent and the fact I will only use it for a few hours at a time, this was a good purchase for me

but.. this crap hurts my hand more than an oscillating tool the vibrations are ridiculous.. and I’ve handled a belt sander vibrating sander
I have only used it briefly on a sample to be sure it is operational, and it seems to work as it should.
The dust collection system is not the best, BTW Ridgid has the best, I found that it’s real easy to hook up to a vacuum with a piece of 3/4” PVC sprinkler pipe and a couple zip ties.
The dust collection thing doesn't work, but the sander does.
It's powerful and dust collection is better than expected

The sander works well but the dust collection system may as well be nonexistent because it does a terrible job
The screws finally tore through the sanding head, distorting the mounting holes to the point of no return
However, I did have to snug up the 4 screws that hold the sanding head to the motor a couple times, as I noticed additional vibration occurring and loose screws sicking out during use
This seemed to fix the problem for a little while, but, ultimately, the sander started sounding rattly again during use even when the screws were not loose.
big disappointment!I waited a long time to use the product in my first project, and after only 20 minutes of use the disc disintegrated, the screws were released, and the plastic screw holes lost shape and the screws could not be attached again, and the "wonderful" addition is that the responsibility in my country will not fix it
