Black Shock Mount For Blue Yeti and Blue Snowball Mics Eliminates Noise From External Vibration

works perfect, fits, great and holds my mic steady as intended.
totally happy with the shock mount does a pretty decent job keeping the vibrations out of the mic or down to a minimum my only complaint is the usb cord pushes against the metal plates of the shock mount but isnt too big of a problem i can live with it and im very happy about the mount works great with my blue
The tightening screw that bends the unit up and down works very well, was able to hold my mount in a horizontal position without much play.
The shock mount works well for being an aftermarket piece.
I attached this to a cheap-o On-Stage brand mic stand, weighed that down with some equipment sand bags and some "play sand" that I picked up for a few dollars at one of the well-known, national home improvement stores, and now I have my mic off-
My initial remarks after receiving the item are that the item itself seemed solid and was easy to assemble/install
If your looking for a good mounting item for your yeti this is great.
This item is not compatible with my Thronmax MDrill One which has the same screw size with Blue Yeti, but the frame for this shock mount will cover the USB-C port in any direction
I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my girlfriend who was eager to start recording after the holidays, and it broke immediately after I fastened it to her mic stand.
Not sure how this item is approved to support the YETI, which is one of the heaviest mics available
My major gripe is that the joint from the shock absorber to the mounting piece has way too much play in it, pretty poor machining job as no level of tightening the finger screw can stabilize the piece
Does a fantastic job eliminating any motion noise when combined with a nice microphone arm.

I do not have another shock mount to compare it to but honestly for the price it does a great job
My only complaint is that it feels very cheap, but it does it's job well
I received an email from Amazon regarding this purchase stating that the size of the hole in the blue yeti may be too large to fit the Shock mount due to a company manufacturing error on the microphone and they would offer a full refund of this was the case
Back in the day, Blue had a manufacturing error in the mount holes that they made for the Yeti, but all newer ones should fit just right
Makes things a little more precarious, but I have it as stable as I can.
Works as it should and is way less bulky that most spider-type mounts
Due to a manufacturing error with the Blue Yeti, Auphonix offered a full refund if the shock mount would not fit

After using this for a few months, the bolt that held it together started loosening every 2-3 days and the mic would droop about 2 inches
One day the bolt stripped apparently and when I looked at the mic in the morning one day, the whole thing just fell apart, the mic fell off of the stand, got scratched up real bad and bent the USB cable
Makes things a little more precarious, but I have it as stable as I can.

Now those same bumps and clicks are mere background noise

well u r
bought this to keep a Blue Yeti from picking up any background noise from movement / vibration
people seem to be buying this and are experiencing issues with their mic that is not the shock mounts fault (i.e. background noise, electrical interference hissing noise, screw not fitting, etc.
Makes things a little more precarious, but I have it as stable as I can.
YepDoes it help eliminate vibration noise from incidental contact
I bought this to try and help eliminate some shock and vibration noise feedback from my microphone.
