This is a well built shock mount for blue yeti microphone, ive been using it for a month now, its hold the mic very well, strong quality and it helps my mic from picking up my keyboard noise or anything on the desk

Still, as per the included instructions on how to deal with the problem, make sure that you have some thread tape in case the mounting thread is not the proper size.]As a minor advantage, my parakeet loves the mount more than the mic, meaning that she now hangs out on that rather than the mic; this is fine during recording as the mount absorbs the sound of her landing and the mic doesn't require as much cleaning now

In comes in this ahock mount. with a simple arm attached, this shockmount replaces the bulky desktop mount, puts it up in the air and with its rubber band like support helps keep vibrations away from the mic beautifully, not to mention that now it feels a little bit more like a radio station

You have to mount it sideways at a weird angle due to the power and aux port at the bottom of the mic being completely blocked by the dumb mounting system.

Highly recommended to anyone with a Yeti mic, and if it doesn't fit your mic, it's not the mount's fault

Doesn't seem to work as well as the shock mount that goes all the way around the Snowball, but works a bit.

This is a very good quality microphone mount that I have had for several months now

Mount is easy to install and works wonderfully.

After 2 months of use, these are my complaints: the hinges are poorly designed and do not hold up certain angles well (especially if you're using a heavier microphone), and the base plate for the middle connector is too wide (because of this my usb connection was quite tight and would sometimes disconnect when rotating the microphone).This mount is probably good for most applications, but for my particular use I will be looking for a different product

It's a rare problem with the Yeti, but they were willing to take a loss themselves in the event I had one of those Yeti's with an incorrect sized mounting hole.

I have another mount with a brass fitting that fits perfect and it measured .620 inch with the threads

totally happy with the shock mount does a pretty decent job keeping the vibrations out of the mic or down to a minimum my only complaint is the usb cord pushes against the metal plates of the shock mount but isnt too big of a problem i can live with it and im very happy about the mount works great with my blue
