    Blue Snowball USB Microphone (Brushed Aluminum)

    • My biggest concern when buying it is that there would be monstrous crackling and distortion on high and/or loud notes whenever I sang at any reasonable distance from it
    • If you have a crackling squeaky voice it will not make you sound like Barry White :-)However this microphone does have an exceptional quality for USB microphones and edging in on broadcast quality
    • We used headset microphones and found a lot of static, tinny or echoe effects, or just weird crackles or pops as the user moved the headset microphone boom
    • AWESOME product, use it every day as well as for my webinar hosting and podcasts.
    • When I initially bought the microphone, I liked it, but after using it for about 15 weeks, I notice an intermittant audio cut that follows the microphone, and is present on my Mac in both Garage Band and Audacity, as well as on my Windows 8 PC in Audacity
    • I first bought this to do some digital recording, but found that it also works great for Skype and other video meetings, as well as for dictation using Dragon Naturally Speaking
    • I use it to record my podcasts as well as with Skype
    • The sound quality is good, but now I have to upgrade my PC for this to work as it cuts in and out since it needs more memory to run
