It never crackles, and you never hear the loud pops at the start of sentences when you’re close to the mic itself.

If you have a pop filter (which a very cheap and can also be made at home) then I recommend purchasing this product or the Blue Yeti Microphone as they both are of great quality.

If you're starting out in voice over work this is a great starting place especially if you couple this with a cheap pop filter

I suggest also purchasing a cheap (<$10) pop filter for this microphone to the avoid the pop sound on certain sounds (go say "pop" loudly in just about any microphone and you will see what I mean)
