Blue Snowball USB Microphone (Textured White)

    • (don't do that, it's a good way to get malware) or a specific recording program that can boost the input
    • Because it is USB, all the background noise and analog RF interference of a PC do not effect the recording.
    • It work records my voice really well and it works great with my legato hd60
    • It work records my voice really well and it works great with my legato hd60
    • My voice is fairly soft, and although I never had any trouble making a good recording in a small studio with older mics, reel to reel tape, etc., volume has been a big issue for me with digital recordings
    • Happy recording!
    • Overall a great product for the price, but as with any recording environment, be sure to test before you start recording to establish consistent recording results.
    • it really picks up all the little things though so a good recording location is necessary for this one
    • Only problem: about 1 out of every 60 times, recording comes out distorted and with a static sound surrounding the audio
    • You need to be within a foot and directly talking into the mic to get a nice loud recording in my experience
    • really enjoy recording on this
    • This thing is used by many as a tool to give nice clean recording sound on anything in front of it
    • However, when the computer does pick up the mic, the snowball is a fantastic recording source.
    • The new mic works perfectly has fantastic, clear recording quality.
    • whereas with some work I could get a good sound recording, there was no simple solution for catching quick recordings on the fly.
    • I love this microphone and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing recording microphone at a great price.
    • only problem I have had is that recording guitars sounds rather dull
    • microphone records useable sound, pretty good quality
    • You need to be within a foot and directly talking into the mic to get a nice loud recording in my experience
    • Use for recording voice and noise
    • However, just be aware of false advertising, I think that if I received the microphone I ordered, with the 3 setting switch at the back, my recording abilities would be improved and recording could be a lot more flexible.
    • The nature of USB audio causes some crappy sounding artifacts if you aren't using decent recording software, like if you can only use Audacity for instance because it's free, then you have to change the advanced features in Windows under Recording Devices to 48000 Hz sample rate, 16 bit, and 2 channel, and then match the Audacity recording to 48000 as well
    • Simple, easy to use, good quality audio recording and built solid.
    • Initially there was as much static being recorded as my voice, and the static kept building louder and louder.
    • I use it in a classroom with kids and they can record with good sound quality even with the background hum of a busy room (not the most ideal recording conditions)
    • This is one of the best recording microphones you can pick up without spending a grand
    • Easy to use, records well with laptop
    • The other two settings, when recording, were so quiet that you'd have to smack the microphone to see only a microscopic change in incoming noise levels
    • It looks good on my desktop and sounds good when it records.
    • I've spent a lot of time and money looking for the perfect recording microphone for VO purposes
    • The Snowball microphone is cute and stylish but has poor quality vocal recording sound in the playback
    • You can adjust the sensitivity with the mode change, but for a podcaster you will require complete and utter silence to have a clean recording.
    • Compared to dealng with a soundcard and the noise with it.. it records a clean, sharp, recording with excellent/very good sensitivity
    • though it's not getting the respect it deserves, the Samson "Go Plug 'N Play" is the handiest, most portable, best-designed (and awkwardly named) mic I've found for use with a computer, and it sounds as good (at least when recording the human voice) as either of the aforementioned Blue's.
    • A difference of an inch can change the audio levels a lot and since there is significant lag in the analog to digital conversion it is nearly impossible to monitor the levels while recording oneself
    • Make sure you get a filter for better quality recording.
    • Great for recording gameplay with multiple people and great for song recording.
    • This is top of the line for those who really need that "perfect recording sound".
    • I provided one and then waited another week until I received an email that said nothing about the input levels or quiet recording
    • Took me a while, but o well, it worked and that's what matters to me
    • Greaт prodυcт Good ѕoυnd eaѕy тo use
