I also added the Foam Windscreen for Blue Yeti (VocalBeat) to further filter out extraneous sounds
The sound on this mic is as good as you're going to get with a USB mic
This microphone is so crisp and clear; it also didn’t blow out the sound or rattle even with upclose and loud sounds
And this microphone continuously cuts out and makes loud static sounds, and on every forum I see to try and fix it, they all have the same problem, and theres no way to fix it
The mic works well for a person on a budget wanting good sound
I initially expected keeping the mic that close to my face to keep noise isolation to a minimum as I want to sound good to my friends in Discord and people in my games
But I'm not about to put foam padding all over my walls just to get better noise isolation
This microphone is good, just buy a screen so the p's don't pop and the s's aren't too sharp.
It isn't an annoying amount of echo, but there certainly isnt great noise isolation
I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.
Would be 5 stars but the cable that powers the device is in an awkward spot on the back of this, depending on how you swivel the mic, you damage the cable.
However, it loses two stars for one simple reason: the mini-USB cable it comes with is absolute garbage
I'm only giving it two stars because I really like the physical design of it, but it just doesn't record well.
I returned it but still gave it two stars because (ignoring the whine) it did seem to work as expected.
I bought this in 2013, use it weekly, and it as good as day one.
I have asked to exchange the Blue Yeti Microphone I received for a new one because the product I received would produce a high-pitched whine on every single track I recorded.
I just get this high pitched whine in the background of everything, even when not speaking.
I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.

The microphone was amazing for like 2 months, but then out of no where, it started making a high pitch whine, and an incredibly loud static
ever i have a youtub e channel i would love to promote it
Many people complain about this issue and the company hasn't issued a recall or acknowledged that it is a problem.
I did some research online and realized I wasn't the only one and many people also experience this problem
I initially expected keeping the mic that close to my face to keep noise isolation to a minimum as I want to sound good to my friends in Discord and people in my games
I have looked online and other people have had this same issue.
If background noise isn't a problem for you this is a great Mic.
This mic is also good at picking up background noise though
I looked up youtube reviews, reviews here on Amazon, as well as on other tech review sites, and I can say with confidence that the Yeticaster is definitely a top tier choice when it comes to above average USB Mics, and a fantastic shock mount and boom arm
I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.
Very clear voice, and minimal to no background noise picked up.
