The return audio through the headphones jack returned a 1950 AM radio crackling static sound
Now there's a bunch of static sounds that come through even when using different cables/laptops.
And this microphone continuously cuts out and makes loud static sounds, and on every forum I see to try and fix it, they all have the same problem, and theres no way to fix it
The sound on this mic is as good as you're going to get with a USB mic
and I ordered a different color because the mic itself had great sound.
I’ve use this Mic to record songs and the quality is actually pretty good for the cheap price highly would recommend if you’re trying to get into music or just trying to make YouTube videos
and if you enjoy asmr and want to one day make asmr videos this is the greatest mic to use for a cheaper price !
Very good sound quality for a fair price and works perfectly out of the box
I feel the price is actually cheap for the craftsmanship.
Conclusion: will likely go w an AT for the slimmer design, better sound quality, and cheaper price.
I'm sure if your room has lots of things to soak up any echo, noise isolation wont be an issue
I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.
I initially expected keeping the mic that close to my face to keep noise isolation to a minimum as I want to sound good to my friends in Discord and people in my games
This microphone is good, just buy a screen so the p's don't pop and the s's aren't too sharp.

The pins got bent and when I tried to figure out what was going on, I pulled the cord out and the plastic was left hanging onto the pins
Its a real hefty base, made of metal, not a scrap of cheap plastic on it
This microphone is good, just buy a screen so the p's don't pop and the s's aren't too sharp.
This morning, we were getting ready for work and noticed a plastic burning smell
I looked up youtube reviews, reviews here on Amazon, as well as on other tech review sites, and I can say with confidence that the Yeticaster is definitely a top tier choice when it comes to above average USB Mics, and a fantastic shock mount and boom arm
It's not too bad but attaching certain accessories to it can just rip the paint off.

In my subjective opinion, the colored versions are nice to look at with their fancy paint jobs, but the cheaper blackout edition is the one to buy, because the microphone itself is probably not going to be seen on video when used.
Unscrewed the stand to mound it to a desk pole arm I purchased, only to find that the paint is flaking on the sides where it was attached
This includes things like Discord/Skype/etc as well as for streaming and plain audio recording
To start off, I chose to knock a star off for the un-user friendliness of this mic, for the quality of this product, it should have had an off button on it, having to have the mic on
However, it loses two stars for one simple reason: the mini-USB cable it comes with is absolute garbage
I bought this in 2013, use it weekly, and it as good as day one.
I will keep you posted and update the stars when it is confirmed that the replacement works as it should with no repeat issues
This microphone is good, just buy a screen so the p's don't pop and the s's aren't too sharp.

The microphone was amazing for like 2 months, but then out of no where, it started making a high pitch whine, and an incredibly loud static
ever i have a youtub e channel i would love to promote it
I read many reviews online and after deciding from the reviews that this is indeed the best one to buy, well I just bought it.
I purchased this mic on March 30th and it developed some sort of high pitched whine about a week into ownership that occurs no matter what computer or environment I hooked it up in

The sound quality is good, but not as great as I was expecting for the price

This is a very good microphone but it picks up a lot of background noise
