I downloaded the two applications that makeup Blue VOICE which are now compatible with both Windows AND Mac and found the features of that program to be phenomenally good

The Logitech software adds a ton of useful features that work great on PC, but I couldn't get those to work reliably on Mac

I like the material its made out of however this is not woth the money, the quality fluctuates very often and the other feature like surround sound and interview mode and other doesn't work in apps like discord or recorder.

The sound quality with this mic is excellent, and the features are great - I wasn't sure that the LEDs on the front would be worth paying more for, but they are very useful when recording and streaming

That is an excellent feature for making sure you are coming through loudly and clearly

The Yeti X is the more recently upgraded version of the Yeti with a lot of nice features, like the realtime monitoring using the LED meter which works really well by the way

The one very stupid design feature, and why I subtracted one star, is that the USB input is at the bottom of the microphone.

You may graduate to higher end versions of this mic someday (the Pro series is an accessible one for studio recording), but the live processing is the best new feature in the baseline that I am sure will improve your audio quality immediately, and if you choose to spend some time optimizing within the software, I think you will appreciate the results of your customization.

NA recorder, now at a fraction of the price of the Yeti with better features, had the same problem.

Just sorry illogical nitpickers left one-star reviews of a port rather than an actual review of this really nice well-built mic, its high-quality output, and its useful features

That means you do not get any of the cool features of the Blue Voice.

This is a great Mic with great features

Highly recommended to download the Logitech G Hub software as it has voice presets and allows you to customize the lighting of the display, as well as giving you fine-grained control of the sound and readout that you don't get otherwise
